2025 Highlights & Embracing What’s Next, with Dee’s Green Cleaning
Happy Holidays from your friends at Dee’s Green Cleaning!♥️🎄 This time of year brings pockets of space for stillness and reflection. As we look back, 2025 was a year filled with building relationships and tremendous growth. We’ve been busy adding to our amazing team and growing deeper bonds within our community. Let’s take a look at some highlights over the last year!
Reflecting on 2025: A Year of Building
Team Growth and Appreciation:
Our passion for service allowed us to grow and expand our team in 2025. We welcomed two new technicians, as well as established a new role of an Operational Support Specialist. With the growth of our team, we were able to provide more cleaning services, expand our area of service, and provide more team-building events and training.
We have also provided regular trainings on cleaning techniques and best practices, as well as topics such as finance and decision making. Those other topics may not seem related to cleaning, but we know they are important for being able to live a successful life and will effect the way they show up for work.
We’ve also gathered to upcycle crafts and gone out for a sunset paddle to show our appreciation for all their hard work and help let go of some of the stress of the day to day.

Lastly, this year at Dee’s Green Cleaning we celebrated a great milestone; our 12 year anniversary! 🎉 Thank you to our dedicated clients and incredible team for making this possible. We look forward to providing you the best home cleaning services and office cleaning services for years to come!
Excellence in Leadership:
Founder of Dee’s Green Cleaning, Dana Sladowski, made huge waves by stepping deeper into leadership roles within the community. Dana became a member of Leadership Macomb Core Program which is designed to connect business leaders throughout the community, while providing education and encouragement to make a difference. She has also been invited to join the nextGEN board of directors! nextGEN is a local foundation within the Macomb Chamber of Commerce that is committed to uplifting and setting forth initiatives for young leaders to thrive. Way to go, Dana! 🥳

In addition, Dana hosted the Cleaning Business Fundamentals meeting at the Macomb Chamber of Commerce. Here, CBF certified cleaning businesses throughout the state of Michigan gathered together to discuss leadership, business strategy, and help each other grow. We cannot wait to see what next year has in store. 📈

Community Outreach
At Dee’s Green Cleaning, we are incredibly passionate about creating opportunities for sustainability, and being a contributing member to our community.
Through a partnered clean-up event with The Cleanup Club and Bucket List Experience, just this year we were able to collect 306 POUNDS of garbage from the Clinton River! 🌎💚 Making it a total of 1,200 pounds of garbage removed since we began this initiative. Thank you to The Cleanup Club and to all of the volunteers for making this possible.

Mission Accomplished
To continue our passion for community outreach, Dana, along with Dee’s Green Cleaning, partnered and raised $1,000 for Cleaning for a Reason. Cleaning for a Reason partners with registered service providers to provide free cleaning services for patients battling cancer.
If you or someone you know is battling cancer, please visit www.cleaningforareason.org to register and be matched with a partnering service provider for free cleaning help. 🎗️💚
We also helped keep a bunch of e-waste from landfills by hosting a drop off day and collecting it from our clients during the month of April.
This year Dee’s Green Cleaning also celebrated our Women's Business Enterprise Certification! 🎊 This certification aids in providing credibility and access to programs and opportunities for women owned businesses to thrive within different industries.
Lastly, Dana was a featured “hidden gem” in Voyage Magazine. Voyage Magazine features inspiring stories of up-and-coming artists and business owners. What’s Next
Heading into 2026, we remain committed to our mission; “to elevate cleanliness, care for the environment, and foster a thriving community for our clients and employees alike.” How will we do this?
Maintain a regular training schedule to ensure the skills and quality of our cleaning technicians.
We look forward to expanding our team by adding new members, creating new roles for advancement, and expanding our service area.
We look forward to community events like litter cleanups, leadership opportunities, and CBF networking.
Remain dedicated to new and continued partnerships like Cleaning for a Reason to provide excellent service.
Continue to provide team building, learning, and training, increasing our efficiency and efficacy.
